Le député danois d’extrême droite, Anders Vistisen, a invité Donald Trump, qui souhaite annexer le Groenland aux États-Unis, à «aller se faire foutre» (fuck off) devant le Parlement européen.

Danish politician Anders Vistisen has been told off for using profane language while discussing the new US administration in Strasbourg’s European parliament. Mr Vistisen, a member of the right-wing Patriots for Europe group, referred to President Donald Trump’s comments regarding controlling Greenland to ensure international security. Mr Trump has expressed interest in making Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, a part of the US since his re-election in November. He hasn’t ruled out using military or economic power to persuade Denmark to hand it over. « Greenland… is not for sale. Let me put it in words you might understand: Mister Trump, f**k off, » he said, before being told by the European Parliament Vice President, Nicolae Stefanuta, that « in this house of democracy… regardless of what we think of Mister Trump, it is not possible to use such language ».

Depuis décembre, le nouveau président américain répète qu’il veut prendre le contrôle du Groenland, un territoire autonome rattaché au Danemark.

«Cher président Trump, écoutez-moi très attentivement. Le Groenland fait partie du royaume danois depuis 800 ans. Il fait partie intégrante de notre pays. Il n’est pas à vendre», a déclaré Anders Vistisen, au lendemain de l’assermentation du républicain.

«Laissez-moi vous le dire en des termes que vous pourrez comprendre. Monsieur Trump, allez vous faire foutre», a ajouté l’eurodéputé.

Anders Vistisen a ensuite été rappelé à l’ordre par le vice-président du Parlement européen, Nicolae Stefanuta.

Pendant ce temps, à Washington, l’élu républicain Andy Ogles a annoncé sa volonté de déposer un projet de loi ordonnant «au Congrès de soutenir les négociations du président Trump avec le Danemark en vue de l’acquisition immédiate du Groenland».
